Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BitRelay handles information in connection with the BitRelay website, application, and related software. BitRelay is pre-launch. Today the website collects only the information needed to operate an early-access list and to keep the site secure and functional.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. If you join the early-access list, we collect the contact method you choose (a phone number or an email address), the value you enter, the place on the site where you submitted it, and the date and time of your submission.

Information you send us directly. If you contact support, we receive the message and the address you sent it from.

Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to maintain the early-access list, to respond to inquiries, to operate and secure the site, to prevent abuse or fraudulent submissions, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use early-access contact information for unrelated advertising.

Wallets and Bitcoin Information

BitRelay is designed as non-custodial software. BitRelay does not request, collect, or store wallet recovery phrases, private keys, or seed information, and no BitRelay representative will ever ask you for them.

Bitcoin and Lightning Network transactions are recorded on networks that BitRelay does not control. Information published to those networks is outside the scope of this policy and cannot be deleted by BitRelay.

Sharing With Service Providers

We share information with independent service providers that host our site, store our data, and deliver messages on our behalf. These providers are permitted to process information only to provide those services to BitRelay.

Where a future BitRelay feature depends on a regulated third-party provider, that provider may collect information directly from you under its own terms and privacy policy. Any such feature will be identified when it becomes available.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or BitRelay.

Cookies and Analytics

The site uses only the storage necessary for it to function, together with privacy-conscious usage measurement that records page and interaction counts. We do not use this measurement to build advertising profiles.

Retention

Early-access contact information is retained until launch communications are complete or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your Choices and Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the contact information you submitted, and you may ask to be removed from the early-access list at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law.

To make a request, contact support@bitrelay.app.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

The BitRelay website and early-access list are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as BitRelay develops. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
